Summary
The Spotsylvania County Department of Public Utilities needed a software solution for its field inspectors that would allow them to check out the County's GIS data, navigate to this data in the field with GPS, and link this data with one or more as-built drawings in the field. WorldView deployed a custom ArcPad solution that seamlessly checked out data for use on a field laptop and provided users with GPS capabilities that would quickly bring them to critical assets and related engineering drawings.
