Summary
In collaboration with its partner, Prism Contractors and Engineers, WorldView Solutions is developing a GIS implementation plan for the City of Franklin, Virginia. The City’s plan will identify applications of GIS, data development priorities and an overall implementation strategy for distributing GIS data and tools throughout the organization. Prism Contractors and Engineers have conducted a sewer, water and storm water survey for the entire City. Utilities data was collected using sub-foot accuracy GPS and included the development of all utility structures, pipes, and attributes. All data layers will be loaded into the City’s GIS database at the completion of the project.
