Client: US Army Fort AP Hill, Virginia and The Conservation Fund
Summary
WorldView converted nearly 6,000 parcels from hardcopy to geodatabase format in the northern half of Caroline County, Virginia surrounding the Fort AP Hill US Army installation. This effort was undertaken in support of a collaborative effort between the Conservation Fund and the US Army to evaluate installation encroachment issues and changes in nearby land use patterns. This study resulted in identification of candidate properties for potential land purchase, or acquisition of conservation easements and/or land development rights.
