Summary
WorldView completed a GIS conversion and update of Charles City and New Kent parcel data. This project included data conversion from hard copy tax maps and subdivision plats; design and creation of hardcopy tax maps; and development of a public access, web browser-based land records information search and mapping application. WorldView also recently completed a full verification of New Kent and Charles City residential and commercial addressable structures. This verification effort includes as-needed GPS-based field data collection at sub-meter average horizontal accuracy. Additional services included: data model development; ArcGIS Server installation and configuration; GeoComm GeoLynx CAD system integration; full road centerline verification and address range development; revision of emergency service numbers (ESNs); and development of supplemental GIS features such as access points, driveways, stop signs/lights, cell towers and dry hydrants.
