Alleghany County GIS Services

Alleghany County, Virginia, has partnered with WorldView Solutions on a number of GIS related project tasks, with a focus on improving its core GIS database and mapping web site. Tasks include parcel data remediation, web site enhancements, and the developmnet of a large format County map.
WorldView Awarded Five Year GIS Services Contract

Henrico County, Virginia, has awarded WorldView Solutions a GIS services contract that will provide the organization with spatial data and application services over a period of one year, with four optional renewal years. This contract compliments the existing GIS services contract WorldView has with the County’s Department of Public Utilities.
WorldView Develops Map Caches for VDOT

The Virginia Department of Transportation has contracted with WorldView on the ongoing maintenance of its map caching resources for its Road Network System (RNS). WorldView will provide quarterly map caching services, allowing for VDOT to provide users with a high quality and fast resource for visualizing all of the Commonwealth's transportation data.
City of Hopewell GIS Services Award

WorldView has been contracted by the City of Hopewell to provide parcel database updates, tax map automation, VBMP building footprint integration, and to work with the City on the development and deployment of an Intranet web mapping application using ArcGIS Server.
WorldView Provides Ongoing Utility Support

As part of its continued partnership with Germanisher Lloyd Industrial Services, WorldView is providing ongoing maintenance and support for a northeastern gas company's GIS applications. This includes support for the enterprise mobile, web and business system applications the company currently has in production.
City of Lynchburg Hydrologic and Impervious Surface Development

The City of Lynchburg has contracted with WorldView Solutions on the development of an impervious surfaces dataset, updates to its hydrologic database development, and remediation of its water and sewer utilities data. The impervious surface dataset will allow the City to maintain its planimetric data while integrating impervious surface information into its work order management system. The hydrologic database will improve the spatial and attribute accuracy of the City hydrologic data. Water and sewer utilities data will be updated using available as-built drawings and data will be fully integrated into a geometric network.
Surry County Virginia Parcel Web Mapping

WorldView Solutions will develop a new mapping web site for Surry County Virginia. Using its parcel mapping toolkit, the County will provide citizens with a simple, fast and powerful tool for searching and analyzing parcel information in the locality.
WorldView Updates City of Norton GIS Database

This includes integration water and sewer data into the GIS, parcel updates and integration of a variety of additional datasets into the GIS.
Henrico County DPU Extends Services contract

The Henrico County, Virginia, Department of Public Utilities has awarded WorldView a GIS maintenance and support contract that will provide the department with ongoing data, training, application development and planning support for one year, with the option to renew for an additional four years. This award allows WorldView to continue working with the department on a variety of projects, as it has the past three years.
Charles City / New Kent County PSAP Project

Charles City County and New Kent County Virginia have partnered with WorldView on a site address database development project that will include database design, data integration, and GPS field verification. WorldView will also provide both Counties with a number of additional deliverables including parcel updates, data remediation and online web mapping software.
WorldView Develops RNS Application for VDOT

The Virginia Department of Transportation has contracted with WorldView on the development of its Road Network System web mapping application. Built on top of the MapsDirect ArcGIS Server control suite, WorldView will deploy a suite of tools for the management of critical infrastructure data for VDOT, including profile analysis and dynamic segmentation.
